Laser Range
The "Laser Range" combines computer technology and a "firearm" that emits a laser. The software records the "hits" on selected targets. The software provides data such as score, time to first shot and time between shots. The software is capable of tracking several targets at a time. This allows students to practice transitioning from one target to another. Additionally, the student is able to move and shoot allowing them to develop skills that would apply to real world situations.
Because no live ammunition is used the student is able to learn or practice skills they may not otherwise be able to do safely. Such as shooting from unusual positions, lying on the ground, from a chair etc.
Physically challenged individuals now have the ability to practice manipulating a firearm while managing a cane, walker or other assistive device. They are even able to practice reloading the firearm.
