Charles grew up in a rural area and spent most of his time outdoors engaged in various activities. “Self Reliance” was the norm. He has an extensive background which includes several years in Public Safety, EMS Supervisor, CPR and First Aid instructor, First Responder Instructor, worked for several years in healthcare mostly in Critical Care where he also did some training and education. Has been involved in Emergency Management, Emergency Communications, worked for a security contractor, has experience in martial arts and has been involved personal defense / safety for sometime. On occasion has done some competitive shooting. He is an NRA instructor. He holds the belief that people should be prepared and equipped to overcome unexpected events that may occur in the course of everyday life; And should be afforded the opportunity to acquire the Attitude, Skills and Knowledge necessary to survive in an unpredictable world.
